Project Details
Description: Located in the Clairemont - Great Lakes neighbor hood, this circa 1930 single story bungalow had an out-dated floor plan, aged systems and old house charm that had become dull and ordinary. The desire was to renovate the existing structure while adding a second floor while bringing new life to the charm of this home.
Scope: This was a full house renovation that focused on creating open living spaces as well providing a private area for an in-home office.
Challenges: This project aimed to keep a major potion of the existing structure to maintain budget while expanding the structure to include a second floor, adding three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a family room.
Solutions: This home was a unique design in that the out-dated floor plan was turned into a modern livable plan that maintained old house charm. The exterior fits into the style of the neighborhood, meets the dreams of the owners, and was not over-built while adding owner equity.
Special Details: The renovation was done on budget while updating materials and systems that provide energy efficiency.
Awards: The Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council congratulate Sullivan Homes Inc. for winning a Silver OBIE in the Remodeling category for Whole House Renovation $250,000 – $500,000. |
